I'm new to an environment where we will be upgrading NPM, NCM and IPam, perhaps uninstalling NTA, and then adding SAM, WPM and VMan.
This environment currently has two additional polling engines, and we may be adding more. I'm not sure I understand how the extra polling engines are updated to stay in sync with the changes on the main polling engine. For example, when we update to NPM 11.01 from 10.6.1 on the main SolarWinds server, do we similarly run the update on each additional polling engine? The SolarWinds documentation, normally so illuminating, to be enigmatic and opaque on this topic.
