The adddtional poller with the MSMQ issue was/is remote.
I had increased the queue size to 2gb and added a registry entry to cleanup every hour. Result was inconsistant at best.
Fix: (your mileage may vary)
Changing the time zone to match that of the Main Poller and DB (pst. to est. in our case)
Removing the Message Queuing Feature (W2K8) and re-adding it and leaving queue cleanup per default.
Uninstalling and re-installing Addtional Poller Software
Currently the MSMQ is averaging 14mb since the above fix.
