You are correct that having many similar Alerts can be condensed, and it will help in making sure that you do not overload the database with too many similar queries. You can add a Condition Group and change it from All to Any and then you will need to select the ... on that group to assign the Conditions to the group to condense all of the components to a single Alert. In my example below will be similar to what you will want to have it setup. This way if my SQL Server or Active Sessions or All Databases go down, that the Alert will trigger any on those Components.
