Where can I see the message returned by my linux shell script?

Hi All,

I am completely new with SAM and I have been asked to monitor a linux process in SAM by writing a script. I have manged to to get it running and working and SAM does displays the status of the process as UP, Down, Warning etc. However, I can not see the message returned along with the status. It displays this message when I test the scrpt in SAM but I dont know where to see this message. It is not enough to see the status only. For example, if script returns a warning status, we need to know what he warning is.

The script output is like the following:

Statistic.1: 3

Message.1: The data is availabe in the database, but process is not processing. Please check.

Any idea why the message is not being displayed or where should I look for it? Is there any service not running which displays the message or something wrong with SAM?

My script is written in /bin/sh and not perl.

Many thanks in adavnce for your help.

Regards Ahmerin
