There is also a related request which would allow components of the web interface to be updated independently, rather than refreshing the entire page:

This would mean that the Network Atlas link colour would change as it is being detected, rather than waiting for the next screen refresh. I have upvoted both of these requests (which, interestingly are both at 52 votes right now!), and would encourage everyone to do the same.
