My MX record test is passing:
Differing mailserver addresses | All hostnames referenced by MX records resolve to different IP addresses. It is important that you have different IP addresses for your MX records, as it ensures that there is not a single point of failure for mail delivery. The hostname IP addresses are: 208.80.125.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.125.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.126.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.126.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.124.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.124.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.127.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.80.127.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.94.149.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.94.149.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.94.148.4 has inbound10.mxlogicmx.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. 208.94.148.4 has inbound10.mxlogic.net. | 54.235.159.97 listed. |
But my mail server test is failing:
Connect to mail server | All connections to Mailservers port 25 have failed. The standard port for SMTP transactions is 25, so your servers should be operating on that port. It is recommended that it be fixed in order for your mail service to operate properly. The Mail Servers that failed are: 54.235.159.97 | failed message send with: failed cx open with: failed socket connect with: Operation now in progress 54.235.159.97 | failed message send with: failed cx open with: failed socket connect with: Operation now in progress |
So I see where that 54.x.x.x address is listed, but it's not in the DNS. Where is that 54 number coming from?
